Pre-Deployment Medical Requirements
Before deployment, service members must complete a comprehensive set of medical requirements to ensure they are Fully Medically Ready (FMR). These are tracked through MEDPROS/MHS GENESIS and must be current before deploying.
Start early: Begin addressing pre-deployment medical requirements at least 90 days before your deployment date. Some requirements like immunization series take time to complete, and scheduling at MTFs can have wait times.
